Philip Mill is a Wildlife Sound Recordist from the UK, I am driven by the passion to listen to the natural world and everything in it.

I’ve recorded in many locations throughout Europe including Greece, Poland, UK, Sweden, Germany and more.

I have attended formal training in sound recording; studying to masters degree level in London.

I am also studying wildlife tracking and trailing and this has given me a strong understanding of working in different environments and has largely improved my field craft, enabling me to get up close to subjects and make high quality recordings.

I’ve worked with a variety of collaborators and festivals and contributed field recordings across the world to many projects.

I work with Parabolic microphones, hydrophones, contact mics and ambisonics – and have an arsenal of different recorders ready to go!
